Privacy Notice (GDPR)

Fae is a privacy-focused local app. After install and startup, Fae runs on your computer and keeps your data on your device.

1. GDPR Summary

Fae is designed so that Saorsa Labs does not receive your conversations, memories, voice data, camera data, prompts, or files from the app. Processing happens locally on your machine.

Under GDPR principles (data minimisation and privacy by design), Fae is built to avoid collecting personal data in the first place for normal app usage.

2. Data Collection

We do not collect telemetry, analytics, tracking data, or behavioral data from the Fae app. We do not run cloud inference for your local conversations.

  • No sale of personal data

3. Local-First Companion

Fae is your local AI companion. Once installed, it runs on your computer, uses local models, and stores its working data locally. You can inspect, export, or delete local files under your own system account.

Fae is open source software distributed under the GNU Affero General Public License v3.0 (AGPL-3.0).

5. Your Control

Because Fae is local-first, you remain in control of your own environment and data. You can remove local data and uninstall Fae at any time.
